Our Studio
Palmetto Clayground is a fun art studio space for everyone to find their creative side. In addition to mixed levels classes for adults and kids, we offer summer camps, parties, and offsite events. You can do 4 things in our studio, those things include:
1. Painting ceramics
2. Painting canvases
3. Creating with glass
4. Creating with clay (hand building)
Our studio philosophy centers on building a welcoming creative community where each person is inspired and empowered to explore and learn. Get in touch with your inner child and focus on the overall creative experience!
Meet Our Team!
Samantha Dozal, Manager & Instructor
Sam has been teaching art camps since she was just 14 years old. Before moving to Charleston in 2018, Sam graduated from Hollins University with a B.A. in Studio Art and Marketing, with a concentration in painting. She insists that Palmetto Clayground has the absolute best customers and loves showing others how to find their creative side!

Kanisha, Assisant Manager & Instructor
Kanisha started working at our little studio in high school and worked her way up to being our wonderful Assistant Manager! She is incredibly kind and focused on making our studio environment colorful & fun. If there is a work of art that you see in our studio and LOVE, chances are, Kanisha painted it. Fun fact: every cactus that you see in our studio was created by Kanisha!
